2023 Special Events:

First Tee GIRLS Clinic

May 22nd, TPC Deere Run, 4:00-5:15pm

Cost: $0.00

This is a very special clinic in partnership with the NAIA Women’s Golf Championships being played at TPC Deere Run. First Tee girls will be pair with athletes who are competing in the tournament for some range time and a few holes of golf. Athletes will be talking to First Tee participants about their golf careers, asking about peer groups at school, and creating bonds that hopefully lead to long term friendship/mentorship!

We have VERY limited spots! Please have your child bring their golf clubs and water!

This experience is designed for girls ages 12-16 years old.

First Tee Summer Camp

June 12th, 13th, & 14th, Highland Springs Golf Course, 10:00am-2:00pm

Cost: $100.00

Our First Tee Summer Camp at Highland Springs Golf Course is a great opportunity for our youth to be OUTDOORS this summer and learning not just the game of golf, but all of the invaluable life-skills that come with it. Our staff will be running all kinds of activities. Youth will work on all the different facets of the game (driving, chipping, putting and the full swing) as well as just having FUN!

Bring golf clubs if you have them and water bottle.

Ages: 7-16 Years Old

DRIVE. CHIP. PUTT. Clinic

June 24th- Red Hawk Golf Course- 10:00am-2:00pm

Cost: $40.00- Lunch is provided

This clinic will provide an opportunity for our youth to practice their Drive, Chip & Putt skills. We will divide into groups and utilize 3 separate stations to focus on each facet of the game. Each station will have a Coach giving instruction and volunteers helping too!

This is a great chance to hone skills for the Drive, Chip & Putt event being held at Highland Spring Golf Course on July 12th.

Please bring clubs if you have them and water bottle.

Ages: 7-15 Years Old

Breakfast of Champions

July 5th- TPC Deere Run- 8:30am-10:00am

Cost: $25.00 per person. Children under 5 years old do not need a ticket!

This year during John Deere Classic week First Tee – Quad Cities will be hosting a Breakfast of Champions (previously known as Lunch & Learn). This is a chance for our youth and their families, donors, and board members to come meet players, listen to their stories, ask questions and enjoy a delicious breakfast! We will release who the pros are that will be joining us closer to the event. We will also send parking instructions prior to event!

Minors 13 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Ages: No age restriction. Everyone is welcome!

Drive. Chip. Putt.

July 12th- Highland Springs Golf Course

Cost: $0.00

Drive, Chip and Putt is open to boys and girls ages 7-15. Boys and girls will compete in separate divisions in four age categories: 7-9 years old; 10-11 years old; 12-13 years old; and 14-15 years old. Two winners from each age group will advance to a regional event!

Annual Golf Outing- Fundraiser

September 18th- TPC Deere Run- 7:45am flight & 12:45pm flight

Cost: $250 per person/$1,000 per team. Registration cost includes breakfast (if you are playing in the AM), lunch, hors d’oeuvres (if you are playing in the PM) & a gift for all golfers!

Help us make this our most successful fundraiser of the year by gathering a team and playing in our annual golf outing! This is a fun, competitive, outing that raises $50,000+ each year! This year we have a goal of raising $65,000 to help off set costs of new equipment, scholarships, facilities upgrades, and so much more!

First Tee Jr. Tournament

September 24th- Emeis Golf Course

Registration for all flights is $20.00

Flights:

6-9 Year Old Boys, 6-9 Year Old Girls, 10-11 Year Old Boys, 10-11 Year Old Girls, 12-13 Year Old Boys, 12-13 Year Old Girls, 14-16 Year Old Girls, 14-16 Year Old Boys.

Trophy for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for all divisions.

Prizes for long drive and longest putt will be awarded

Youth Indoor Simulator Golf League

Saturday’s, November 11th- December 16th (No league on November 25th)

7am-9am

Format: 

The format will consist of two-person teams playing a 9 hole scramble on Saturday mornings. They will have 1 hour to complete 9 holes alongside another 2-person team. Their scores will be kept in an app, which we will have more information on soon. 

Depending on the amount of participants (a maximum of 32) your child will have a mix of tee times at 7am or 8am throughout the league. We will have a detailed schedule provided before the league begins.

Golf Skills Required:

This league will be for youth with a bit more golf experience. For Example, youth who have competed in a tournament or are actively playing holes.

Registration: $85.00 per child, Ages 11 and up

Please register your child and have your child’s partner register as well. Once both youth are registered, please email Scott Stowe with the pairing names. If your child is having trouble finding a partner, please register your child and send us a note asking for help finding a partner.
